Discover MUN

Every year, the UNSW United Nations Society runs a Discover MUN Program. Mentors are sent to high schools in the wider community to guide students through a MUN simulation and workshops, and assist them in confidence-building and skills development.

We will be hosting a range of one-day conferences throughout the year in high schools across Sydney, culminating in a final event at UNSW.

Members who join the program Program will be trained as mentors to guide the students through a MUN simulation and workshops, and assist them in confidence-building and skills development. Even if you are a first-timer in UNSoc and/or not experienced in Model United Nations, this is a fantastic opportunity to foster mentoring, communication, leadership and public speaking skills, while improving your own skills.
